Founded in 2007 originally under the name of Coakley McElligott, MandE have successfully delivered over 500 projects for individuals and companies operating in broad range of areas: commercial offices, private and large scale residential developments, information technology, healthcare, food production, recycling, education and hospitality. Among our clients are companies such as Corcom, Eversheds, Gempack, IPUT, IRES, Montane Group, Murphy International, Silver Hill Foods and many others. Our design and consultancy services are tailored to the needs of our clients. We listen first and respect unique objectives constraints and challenges of every project. Our solutions are custom designed and we work closely with our clients representing their needs and interests throughout the life of the project. Declan Coakley Director and Lead Electrical Engineer

2007 – Present MandE Consulting Engineers

Director and founding partner of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering services consultancy practice responsible for design and site co-ordination, contract administration, project management and company development.

 

2005 – 2007 Gaites Engineering Limited

Principle Electrical Engineer within the company including design and management of projects. Projects included the Jameson Tour in Smithfield, large scale commercial offices and industrial developments.

 

2003 – 2005 PMC Partnership

Declan was involved in the design, cost control and project management of the electrical services for commercial and residential projects. Projects included refurbishment of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in Kildare Street, Dublin. The building was listed as of National Importance.

 

1998 – 2003 PM Group

Responsible for the overall design and site management of the electrical services for large scale commercial and industrial projects. Declan was responsible for designing and delivering the services infrastructure and building services design for the National Digital Park in Citywest. He developed the electrical services on the Xerox Hardware facility in Dundalk from concept through design and construction stages.

 

1996 – 1998 MacArdle McSweeney, Dublin

Responsible for the design, cost control and overall design and site management of the electrical services for commercial developments. Projects included Offices at Eastpoint Business Park and PTSB fit-out in Blackrock, Dublin.


Marek Szmagara Lead Mechanical Engineer

2015 – Present

Marek is a Chartered Engineer with 15+ years’ post graduate experience. Projects worked on include Mechanical & Electrical Building Services design as well as Drainage design for Residential, Commercial, Educational, Health and Industrial developments. Marek has been responsible for timely, safe and cost effective design and implementation during the life cycle of projects from conception to handover and beyond.

 

2005 – 2015 N.J. O’Gorman and Associates Ltd

Marek was involved in the design, cost control and project management of the mechanical and electrical services for public, commercial and residential projects. Among another projects included Christian Brothers Primary and Secondary Schools, Haddington Road National School, MGS Manufacturing Group Ltd, Liffey Park Technology Campus, Leixlip, Siemens Building, Fitzwilliam Court, Dublin.

 

2003 – 2005 Ecotech, Poland

As a member of a small but dynamic engineering practice Marek was involved in the design of mechanical building services for a number of residential, commercial and industrial projects.

 

2000 – 2003 Komartek Polska

A subsidiary of Komartek Oy, Lappeenranta, Finland, the company specialised in developing software systems for district heating, water supply, waste and facility management, and energy sector.

Marek was involved in the design and implementation of specialist computer software solutions for a number of utility companies in Poland.


Keith Phelan Senior Electrical Engineer

2017 – Present

Senior Electrical Engineer within the company including design and management of projects. Projects include large scale residential developments, commercial offices and industrial facilities.


Eamonn Brown BER Assessor

2017 – Present

Eamonn is an experienced Building Energy Rating (BER) assessor fully registered with the Sustainable Authority Ireland (SEAI). He is qualified to provide BER assessments of new and existing, domestic and non-domestic buildings.


Anna Gozdalik-Coakley Director and Business Operations

2015 – Present

Anna joined the Company as the director in 2015, assisting with business operations and administration.

 

2003 – 2015 IBM

A range of international and domestic roles including Project Management, Transition and Transformation Management, Change Management, Business Analysis, Software Test Management, Software Deployments, Operations Issue Management, Cash Collection and Dispute Resolution. Anna led or was a member of project teams in a range of industries, including outsourcing, financial services, IT, automotive, consumer packaged goods and technology services.

 

2001 – 2003 IMPAC

Sales and administration role in an international productivity management organisation.
